After the Storm

It was a once-in-30 years storm and it caused the lost of 9 lives. Homes, schools and businesses were destroyed from uprooted trees and floods. The clean-up bill is in the millions. Thankfully, we were spared any harm and damage. We had electricity and our home was safe. Many thousands, however, are still without power and some are even cut-off entirely due to the flooding. It will take many months for towns and businesses to recover, if they ever do. Horror stories about our students and colleagues are still coming in. So many people have lost absolutely everything they owned and insurance doesn't cover flooding.

How would you cope if it happened to you?
